As a working artist since 2013, Heather’s practice has evolved through portraiture, landscapes, large scale botanicals, travelogues and life drawing. She is currently undertaking a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at West Dean College to consolidate more than a decade of self directed learning and short courses with an academic framework.

She finds inspiration from the observation of small daily joys and stresses – dancing and dog walks, church and family life, visiting major exhibitions and travel are all to be savoured and analysed for drawing, painting and sometimes writing.

​

​With a background as an Occupational Therapist, Heather uses analytical and coaching skills with arty know-how and (un-saintly) patience to provide fun and satisfying art sessions for adults of all experience levels.

​

Painting classes and workshops are based in Stoke Poges, which are easily accessible from Slough, Gerrards Cross, Amersham, Beaconsfield and Uxbridge. Private group tutoring also available.
