What's the difference between a class and a workshop?

Art Classes are held each week during term time. You can start at any time in the term, come to as many classes as you wish, switch between Mondays and Tuesdays and just pay as you go. Each student brings their own image or photo to work from (I can offer some examples for beginners) and continues the same painting each week until it is finished (or you fancy a change!). Most people work in acrylics but please contact me if you would like to learn another medium. Everyone works at their own pace - some might have time to paint at home between classes, others may only make an occasional class.

You can bring your own materials or you can pay a materials fee of £5 per class. I also keep a small stock of new items for the convenience of my students (sold at cost, so prices can vary). You can purchase a starter kit for around £30, which includes paint, brushes and your first canvas.

Painting Workshops are single sessions, where the aim is to complete a painting by the end of the session and all materials are included - ideal if you want to try out painting or have limited opportunities to attend. All materials are supplied and although aimed at beginners, any experience level is welcome. Please email me to BOOK workshops to avoid disappointment. Private Group rates are available for both classes and workshops or book me to come to your venue. You will find some general information here or just contact me about the requirements of your group. Easily accessible from Slough, Gerrards Cross, The Chalfonts, Amersham, Beaconsfield and Uxbridge.
